Painthing on the Move
A really phenomenal double-header of a book. One half covers the London exhibition Chicago Imagists 1966-1973 and the other the Chicago show Painthing on the Move. The imagist section gives us reams of unpublished works by Art Green, Christina Ramberg, Ed Flood, Ed Paschke, Jim Nutt, Karl Wirsum, Philip Hanson, Robert Lostutter, Roger Brown. The Move section gives us a portfolio of work by virtuoso German abstract painter Albert Oehlen. A great object.
