Ed Flood: Constructions Boxes and Works on Paper, 1967 - 1973
And so we explore another facet of Chicago art history. Ed Flood was an effervescently talented print maker, sculptor and painter. This work is at the intersection of all good thiings: Westermann, sign painting, Nutt & Wirsum. Deeply soulful, sometimes funny works that show a personality that I would've liked to have known. This book, which features his very best work, and is the only volume published about this brilliant man, includes an essay by Robert Storr.
