A Portrait of Keiichi Tanaami: 14 Films 1975-2009
I am a huge fan of Keiichi Tanaami, the masterful artist who, with Tadanori Yokoo, led the wave of Japanase psychedelia in the 1960s. As a fan, I have all of his books, but this one is unique: It contains his never-before published drawings for animated films, reproduced at full size, and accompanied by his 14 finest films from 1975-2009, plus two documentaries about the man himself. This is an absolute gem of a book.
