Here's a rare find: A highly intelligent new zine, professionally edited and printed, dedicated to women in Japanese culture. Edited by Presspop's Maki Hakui, School addresses female artists in fashion (Michiko Kitamura), comics (Fumiko Okada and Yumiko Oshima), and fine art (Moriko Mori), as well as the female Japanese experience. I fell in love with this fresh voice. Not to be missed.
