The Ganzfeld 4: Art History?
The Ganzfeld undertakes a mammoth exploration of art history in questionable taste. Peter Saul, Karl Wirsum, David Sandlin, and Marc Bell—drew stories about their influences: Salvador Dali, Dick Tracy, H.C. Westermann, and Philip Guston. Also included is work by Shigeru Sugiura. There are plenty of other comics by the likes of Leif Goldberg, Ted Stearn, C.F., Matthew Thurber, Paper Rad, and Jim Drain, as well as a 20-page suite of recent drawings by Gary Panter. Stunning covers by Julie Doucet.
