We have some fine new stuff in the store: First off, we’re thrilled to be carrying our old buddy, Ganzfeld contributor and Comics Comics art director Mike Reddy’s great new publication with The Fiery Furnaces, Blueberry Boat. It’s the illustrated (altered) lyrics for that wonderful record. From Detroit, we bring you the amazing 2LP Monster Island record, with a cover by Gary Panter. Signed edition of 500; also from that once might industrial megalopolis: It Melts In Your Mind, Not in Your Mouth, a beyond awesome grab bag of Destroy All Monsters merch. And finally, our favorite new self-published comic, Curio Cabinet: rural horror stories that keep it sur-real.
I’m proud to say that Comics Comics’ Tim Hodler and Storeyville & Cold Heat’s Frank Santoro each have fantastic interviews up at Tom Spurgeon’s Comics Reporter.
A preview of Cheryl Dunn’s DVD, included with Some Kinda Vocation, can be found here.
