A Goosh Noosh

September 26th, 2012 by Dan Nadel

I have a deep affection for Brian Belott‘s artwork. It’s mysterious and beautiful and ingeniously made. And also casual and smart-alecky and really fucking funny. Basically Brian makes the kind of art I always hope to see but could never, ever envision. Well, he has a new show up in New York at Zurcher Studio (33 Bleecker Street New York NY 10012) entitled A Goosh Noosh. It’s a great achievement, filled with paintings that really need to be seen in person. They are those are objects that have independent life on a wall — emanating feeling. Go see it. It’s up until November 4th. Here are some killer images from the show that Brian was kind enough to share. Click on the thumbnails and scroll through.
