Twofer

Well, these things happen. Pal Mike Treff at Soundscreen scheduled our awesome Josh White event (Thursday night!) many months ago, and, alas, I recently learned two PBox pals are opening exhibitions that same night. Chuck (Ruler) Webster is opening “My Small Adventures” at ZieherSmith. I’m told that around 16 new paintings are in the show. Chuck is truly one of the great working painters today. Go and pay homage.

And then just down the block, Jonas Wood, Los Angeles painter extraordinaire, and master of the interior, is opening his new show at Anton Kern. Jonas, like Chuck, is an old school paintslinger, forever surprising. Can’t wait to see this new body of work.

I will be in Brooklyn during these openings, but will scamper out to Chelsea in the days that follow and report back to you faithful readers.

  1. Well, it is very good, however what about additional options we have here? Would you mind writing a further article regarding them too? Kudos!
