Holiday Shopping Guide

December 10th, 2010 by Dan Nadel

It’s that time of year, and I am here to help you. There is such goodness to be had at PBox HQ. Let’s begin with Terry 100 Channels, the sexed-up 1985 animated film you need to own. Then let’s stroll on to anthologies False Flag and NK7 , featuring C.F., Leon Sadler, a special insert by King Terry, and a panopticon of noise imagists. Moving along to the “B”s we dig into Charles Burns’ self-bootleged graphic novel, Johnny 23, which adds to and remixes his own X’ed Out. Add to that an accompanying silkscreen portfolio by Burns and you have yourself a merry merry, though that buzz could be killed when you get cut by the latest silkscreen book from Le Dernier Cri, Asiatroma.

Then fly to Japan where you will need to buy a DVD/book combo by the masterful Keiichi Tanaami. Craving soup? Leap over to old blighty and fall into Mould Map, the new oversized sci-fi anthology featuring many of our faves and also Matthew Thurber, whose 1-800 MICE 5 is out now, too! And goddamn, Sammy Harkham’s Crickets #3 is out, too! Also, a vintage Moebius book, a fave zine, and much more. Phew. So you can’t go wrong here.

All domestic orders placed by 12/20 via USPS Priority will arrive for X-Mas. “Others”: You’re on your own. We’re provincial here.

I seemed to be aware of this previously, nevertheless there were several useful bits that finished the picture for me, thanks a lot!

  2. Right, that is a good start but i’m going to check into that a tiny bit more. Will show you exactly what more there really is.

  3. Well, this is good, but how about the other options we’ve got here? Do you mind making one more article about these too? Thx!
