Odds and Ends

Here are some recent goings ons in the universe. For one thing, Lightning Bolt is still on tour. No, it will never end. Yes, it actually will, in less than a week. PBox HQ has been receiving fragmented communications from Chippendale and it seems like it is very very hot in those clubs. We are getting the cover proofs for If ‘n Oof tomorrow, and a sweat drenched Chippers will see them in Brooklyn on Sunday. Hurray! Here’s the cover:

In other news, Ben Jones is back in Los Angeles, this time “for good, sort of”, hard at work on his series for the Cartoon Network. No photographic documentation of BJ driving his Prius, but look for that soon.

Over the weekend we visited Lauren Weinstein and Tim Hodler at their Maplewood, NJ compound for happy family time. Here’s Lauren.

And here is Tim, along with graphic maestro Mike (Comics Comics, Fiery Furnaces, Injury) Reddy. PictureBox has known these men for 15 years and here they are, sitting around a pool with their daughters. Does the heart good.
