Aeron Alfrey posted this Hungarian film poster of Alien over at monsterbrains.blogsot.com It is certainly the same artist from these Star Wars posters he managed to dredge up a year back. Does anyone have any more info on this hero? The artist is Tibor Helényi.
I wonder at the material the artist was working from? The poster from The Thing (’82), the one with the lone figure in the snow and light-blast face, was ordered to be done in a single night and with no stills to work from. These Star Wars posters in comparison have some semblance visuals from the films. Some.
If anyone knows anything more about this artist please let me know.
