Seymour Chwast
A co-founder of Push Pin Studios, Seymour Chwast (b.1931) has made complex, idea-driven illustrations for 50 years. His bulbous forms, brilliant and subtle color palette and sly visual puns distinguish his work. With Push Pin, Chwast revolutionized popular imagery, combining typography, design and drawing with a sense of fun, history, and ornament that presaged the post-modern era. He continues to live and work in NYC.
