Sam Glanzman

Sam Glanzman (b. 1924) has been drawing comics books since the late 1930s. Most notably, Glanzman lent his passionate, delightfully off-kilter approach to storytelling and drawing to the lost-world/caveman comic Kona, and chronicled his own WWII experiences in a series of stories for DC and then later Marvel comics, including the highly underrated graphic novel A Sailor's Story. He is featured in Art in Time: Unknown Comic Book Adventures, 1940-1980.
