Mike Saenz

Mike Saenz is the author of the first completely digitally rendered comic book, Shatter, published in 1985. Its groundbreaking meld of tech/subject matter and visuals remains a striking example early digital fx. He completed a handful of other comic book work, including Iron Man: Crash, which is more smoothly rendered but remains compelling, and now works in digital rendering.
