Mike Kelley

Mike Kelley is a Los Angeles-based artist who has shown all over the world. He began his career in Detroit as a member of Destroy All Monsters, before heading West in the late 1970s. His sculptures, paintings, installations, films, and music form a fascinating world in which our own social, pop and visual culture is mutated, absorbed, commented on, and then made into something else -- the Kelley-verse.
