Mark Newgarden

Recently declared a national treasure of the U.S. Dept. of LAFFS, Mark's comic strip work was collected in the book We All Die Alone (edited by Mr. Nadel) and he is the co-author of the Bow Wow series of childrens books. A historian and expert on Ernie Bushmiller's Nancy (look for a book on that soon from Fantagraphics!), in a former life Mark co-created The Garbage Pail Kids, among other genius items of dubious social worth. He lives in Brooklyn in an former funeral home.
