Ken Landgraf
Ken Landgraf was born in New York and, after service in Vietnam, attended the School of Visual Arts, where he studied cartooning. He assisted Howard Nostrand, Gil Kane and Rich Buckler and drew a variety of features for Marvel and DC, including Superman, Wolverine, Hawkman, and others. Landgraf also drew for magazines including Screw and Jaws of Death. In the late 1970s and early '80s he got deep into the independent publishing scene in NYC with his Rock Comics and New York City Outlaws. These days he is perhaps best known for his inks on Dr. Peculiar, one of the most famously strange comic books of all time.
